Wake up every morning to another beautiful sunrise in Ajijic Mexico! This amazing two story home is just a couple of years old and has charmed all of our visitors! Located in the very desirable, Las Salvias area, this exquisite home is walking distance to everything and has the most amazing views of Lake Chapala and the mountains.
Are you considering retirement? This delightful vacation rental
will allow you to taste our village and it is a wonderful getaway
to a mild climate. Lake Chapala is known as the land of 'eternal
spring' and hosts the 
largest number of U.S. and Canadian ex-pats
in the world! The Mexican Sunrise House allows you to enjoy one amazing
sunrise after another. Our guests tell us they are addicted to having
their morning coffee on the terrazza and watch the village
slowly wake up. This BRAND NEW home is secure and located in
a very safe
area where you can walk the village streets. Did you know that Ajijic
is a 500 year old romantic cobblestone village?
Centrally located, the Sunrise House is a charming two story home with two bedrooms and full bathroom on the upper level. The terrazza off the master bedroom allows you to enjoy the vistas and fresh air that make Lakeside an attractive vacation. The downstairs includes a large spacious living room with French doors and large windows, an open concept Mexican tiled kitchen, large breakfast bar, half-bathroom and a covered terrazza for additional dining. There is secure parking if you choose to bring or rent a car during your stay. Our guests have told us it is a 'home away from home'.
The master bedroom has an American queen-size pillow
top bed, custom built in closets and a high 'cupula' ceiling. All
linens and towels are first quality fabrics as we understand the
need to spoil our guests. The Mexican rustic furniture has been hand
painted by a local artist. The bathroom has stained glass windows,
Mexican tiles and a built in bench in the shower for the latest in
comfort.
The second bedroom has a day bed (sleeps 2) with feather beds for the last word in cozy! There is a beautifully painted desk where you can set up your own lap top computer if you choose to be in touch with the rest of the world. The house is already set up for high speed internet connection. A large window with mountain and lake views will charm you and let you fully relax in Ajijic Mexico.
As you descend the staircase, an artistic stained
glass window allows light into the home as well as creating a true
Mexican experience. The main floor is airy and bright with windows
and more windows and French doors. Mexican arches and nooks set off
by dramatic lighting and the boveda Mexican ceilings. Relax and enjoy
your favorite TV programs from the U.S. and Canada: CNN, BBC, movies
music, etc.
The hand tiled kitchen has all the modern conveniences and is designed for easy living. You can prepare your own gourmet meals or warm up local cuisine from the nearby shops. The kitchen includes an ample pantry, microwave, gas oven and stove top and triple filtered water.
Protected from the sun you can enjoy the downstairs terrazza. Many folks eat their meals outside as they turn on the fountain for that Zen moment. You will understand, again, why you are in paradise. For your convenience: US washer and dryer, storage room for sports equipment, and secured off street parking.
We like to remind you that we have The Mexican Jewel House right next door that has been enjoyed by families and friends who want to enjoy their visits together, but maintain their privacy and comfort.
We take great pride is supply you with our favorite restaurants, shops, village markets, day trips, how to get around and the ins and outs of living in a 500 year old village in Mexico. Your fridge will be stocked with a few goodies to get you going on the first day of arrival and you can easily pop down the street for some fill-ins. This home is so well situated that many of our guests never rent a car. Just three streets away you will find: the Pan (baker), the rotisserie chicken lady, two fish markets, a local supermarket and several fruit and vegetable shops. By the way, the Bread Baker is a well known attraction in Ajijic with folks traveling miles for his fresh goodies. You are only a 3 minute walk to our little bit of heaven. Our local baker speaks English and can supply you daily with fresh baguettes, croissants and cactus bread!
If you are visiting for affordable cosmetic surgery, dental work or medical treatments this vacation rental in ajijic is the perfect place to be peaceful. A complete dental cleaning is only $40, hour long massages are $28 and feel free to ask us for the best places 'to get spoiled'!
It all comes down to location, location, location.
Just a short stroll and you are in the main plaza surrounded by artist
galleries, restaurants, shops and coffee shops. Walk our streets
and delight in the sounds, colors and flowers. No wonder so many
folks visit Lake Chapala every year and return over and over again!!!

There is a charge of $110 for each additional night.
Two Guest Maximum - Additional $50 per week for each additional guest.
